ILTIRCESCEN. As. 120-20 Fine Solsona (Lleida). Obverse: Male head facing right, behind him a palm with open leaves ending in a circle. Reverse: Horseman with palm facing right, below ILTIRCESCEN (not visible). An interesting piece struck on a Republican As, showing part of the image of Janus on the obverse and, somewhat fainter, part of the prow on the reverse. This double striking results in its large, unusual flan for this issue. FAB-1446. Ae. 33.30g. Fine-. Scarce.
