ALMORAVIDS, Ali ibn Yusuf (500-537 AH). Dinar. (Au. 4.00g/26mm). 521 AH. Iġarnāṭa (Granada) / اغرناطة. (Vives 1622; Hazard 255; Medina 121). With the indication قديم / وزن (ancient weight) between the central and marginal legends on the reverse. VF+. Rare and beautiful example. This curious metrological indication, which we could rather interpret as a clarification, appears exclusively on the dinars of the Granada mint minted between the years 520 and 522 AH.
