ALMORAVIDES, Yusuf ben Tashfin (480-500H). Get rid of yourself. (Ar. 0.84g/11mm). S/D. (Vives does not cite; Martínez 2; Eustache 84; Benito Ba16). Anv: 'Sahada' in four lines. Rev: Presents Yusuf with the title of al-Musta'in bi-Allah above divided into two lines: المستعين / بالله. Very Fine. Strange. This type of Yusuf, along with some variants of Ali's Qirate, are the only types from the entire Almoravid period that contain the title al-Musta'in bi-Allah ("the one who asks for God's help").
