GUINEA ECUATORIAL. (1979ca). Conjunto de fotografías-dibujos-negativo-proyectos de una viñeta notafílica para el proyecto de un billete Guineano realizado en la F.N.M.T. de Madrid. Raro e interesante conjunto.

Rey Bioko: Desde Mölambo, primer rey Bubi del que se tiene constancia y anterior a la toma de la isla por los españoles, hasta Malabo, con quién desapareció del escenario político guineano la figura del rey, los sucesivos reyes locales atestimoniaron un papel cuasi místico y reducido más a aspectos simbólicos que efectivos. Aspecto que, sin embargo, no podemos menospreciar pues si algo simbolizan estas dinastías son el de la lucha indígena frente a las metrópolis europeas, en este caso España. Con la independencia de Guinea Ecuatorial se puso de manifiesto que la presencia de dicha dinastía no fue un asunto baladí en la reciente historia del país. Malabo y Bioko, ambos hijos del rey Möókata, dan hoy nombre a la capital y la isla donde se encuentra ésta.
