PERIODO DE TAIFAS O POSTERIOR. Amuleto monetiforme. (Pb. 5,31g/25mm). Posiblemente S. XI-XIII. La pieza está limitada en ambas áreas por una cenefa cuadrada, de la que no es visible la parte inferior. La misma, está formada por un filete interior liso en el que se suceden una línea de puntos. En la parte exterior se desarrolla una banda en la que se suceden líneas ligeramente inclinadas. Anv: Dividido en seis líneas, texto coránico en cúfico con algunas lagunas: بسم ألله الرحمن ا / لرحيم ـ ـ ـ ـ و من / الحمد ـ ـ ـ. (¡En el nombre de Dios, el Clemente, el Misericordioso ... y quien la alabanza ...). Rev: Dividido en cinco líneas, texto coránico en cúfico con algunas lagunas: سبحان من ـ ـ ـ ـ/ ـ ـ ـ ـ ـ ـ/ أشان و النعم شان/ به لا إله إلّا الذّي /ــ ـ ـ ـ (¡Alabado sea el que....proponerse, y el bien es cosa suya. No hay otro dios que el que....). Esta curiosa pieza sin duda corresponde a un Amuleto rectangular acuñado en un cospel redondo. El resultado es que la parte inferior de la cenefa se ha perdido, posiblemente con alguna línea por cada lado, y las cenefas de los otros tres lados están cortadas. (Amuletos 382-N16.
