Anv: Busto laureado de Fernando VII con manto, alrededor leyenda: FERDINANDO VII HISP ET IND REGI PROFLIGATIS HOSTIBVS DIVINITUS RESTITUTO MEXICI CONSULATUS, debajo del busto: MDCCCXIV. Rev: Mercurio en marcha, mirando una corona real radiante de luz, con caduceo e la mano derecha y dos estandartes sobre el hombro izquierdo, uno de los caules lleva bordado el escudo del Consulado, debajo, al fondo, vista de una ciudad costera amorallada y una nave, encima banda superior con leyenda: SUB CLIPEO SUO FELICITER PROGREDIOR, en exergo: P V RODRIGZ.
